By I’ve been going back and forth on this for a few years now. My partner and I have been renting for a while and we both have our own opinions. Some people like the convenience of using a car, others prefer the freedom of getting around on foot, and others prefer the security of their home. I know that is not the case in Floridian cities like Miami and Charleston, but it is nice to know that they still exist and that if youve been driving for a while you probably take them now.
Just because you can’t have a car doesn’t mean that you can’t drive a car. Being able to get around the city isn’t the same as having a car, so you have to spend a lot of time on it. The good news is that if you don’t have a car, you can get around on a car and still get around, but be careful when you’re driving that your car is running out of gas.
It seems like there are some drawbacks to renting a car in the major cities. There will be a fee to park there, for example. And the cost of gas will be higher than in most places. Also, the rental companies often give you a discount if you lease the car for longer than you wanted to go on, not to mention theyre often cheaper than actual gas. However, if you can afford to pay for it, you should definitely rent a car.

Even if you live in an area that has a car-pool system, you can still cut your car-rental costs by taking the bus. Public transportation can be expensive, so if you live in a city without a mass transit system, you might want to look at renting a car instead.
