Field goal nets made from recycled cardboard by a local company, are a great addition to the backyard and can also be used in the yard when it’s time to fill it with flowers and vegetables.
Field goal nets are basically just netting you have hung from a fence or a post. They have the same purpose of a netting, but they come in several types, and you can get them in different colors. In one of our earlier posts, we talked about the difference between a netting and a net. Netting is a frame that you hang from a pole. A netting is usually made of white PVC plastic.
Field netting is another of those things that seems to have homeowners pretty stumped. I think it is because painting your home is one of those things if you get wrong, you can’t really hide it. Field netting covers a lot of the surface of your home’s interior and exterior, so it will obviously impact your decor.
Buying or building a new home, you would think that would eliminate the netting stress, but it can actually be the very thing that causes it. Among the many decisions that a new homeowner has to make during construction, choosing netting colors can be the most difficult. I know this because I get asked a lot, plus the Google search terms “should i paint my new construction home?” is one of the most frequent ones that lead people to our website. It goes beyond just choosing colors.
Nets are something of a “white hat” link-building strategy because they help create links between pages on your own website. But they’re often not so good for Google’s eyes. It’s a well-known fact that Google looks at your links like a “vote” for pages to rank higher in search results. Nets, by contrast, are often used as spammy links.
Although they are a lot of the time used to get links, nets are also used to help find the top of search results. For example, Google is more likely to see a link if there are enough search terms in the link text. That is, if you have a link with more search terms in the link text, you should get more attention from Google.
This is a common practice. A link with two or more search terms is likely to get more attention from Google. However, even though Google would notice, it’s not necessarily a good idea to post a link with more than two search terms. This is because it may look spammy, so Google will probably move it to a spammy link instead.
One way to minimize this effect is by using the same keywords in both the heading and the body of your link. This is a good strategy if you’re linking to a page that has a good number of relevant search terms. If you’re linking to a page that has a lot of spammy links, however, this is a bad idea. If they’re spammy links, your link looks spammy in Google’s eyes too, so your chances of getting your link penalized are lower.
A good way to avoid this is to link to your page from your keywords. This takes care of the spammy link issue because you are linking to a page with enough relevant keywords that Google will see it as important.
